Modify Application Text Files

 

1. Double click anywhere on the record line you wish to modify the application text.

2. Click yes to modify application text.

3. Application text will be displayed in Windows Word Pad.

4. Make sure the top ruler is in view and page margins are on and set to .5 left & right margins.

CLOUDY water can result from improper filtration and circulation, high alkalinity, 

or accumulation of particulate matter.  Check your pump for proper circulation and 

make sure the filter is clean. 

Add [Dose] to restore sparkle and clarity to your pool. 

 

Above is the text file when water condition was "very cloudy". Any of the text may be altered to suite the individual dealer. You can not change anything within brackets " [Dose] " . This is the dose & product name for that test.

 

 

Modify Weekly Maintenance Text

 

The "Maintenance Text" file prints at the bottom of the printout. They can be "weekly" routines or detailed "openings or closing" procedures. Each "sanitizer"contains 2 text files.The first one is used for regular daily dosing. The second one is the "maintenance" text file.

 

1. Locate the sanitizer you wish to modify the text for.

2. Double click anywhere on the record line.

3. Choose "No" to modify the maintenance text file.

Maintenance is important and an ideal sanitizer level is key to an algae and bacteria 

free environment. Fill your [Method] with [Dose] as needed and adjust to maintain 

1-3 ppms.

WEEKLY:

1. Add [38] by broadcasting over the water surface. 

2. Add [37] to prevent the growth of algae. 

3. Add [39] to keep you water sparkling clear. 

4. Add [40] to prevent staining on wall surfaces. 

 

As with the standard text files, do not alter anything within brackets [Dose]  [Method] or [38] 

 

The maintenance chemicals themselves are represented by the [38] values. By looking at the products catalog under the Sanitizer Type column, find the "maintenance" chemicals associated with [38]. That will be the chemical used & dosage, which will be displayed in the text file. These chemical dosages should be a "maintenance dose as per label instructions.

 

Maintenance Chemical codes:

(the codes are defaults, any chemical type can be used)

 

35 - any chemical

36 - non chlorine shock

37 - Algaecide

38 - Shock

39 - Clarifier

40 - Metals/Stains

 

41 - 49 opening/closing chemicals
