Modify the Application Text that appear on the printout (step #1, #2, etc. and maintenance instructions.)
1. Open the Products Catalog (as when modifying chemical product names)
2. Double click anywhere on the record line you wish to modify the application text.
3. Click yes to modify application text.
4. Application text will be displayed in Windows Word Pad.
5. Make sure the top ruler is in view and page margins are on and set to .5 left & right margins.
6. Make change(s) exercising care not to change [bracketed] text.
7. Save & Exit Word pad.
Note: Your changed text will now print on future printouts AND the changed text file will be saved in another folder. This will preserve YOUR custom version of the text files whenever you update your software.
Example of a modifying a "clarifier" application text file.
CLOUDY water can result from improper filtration and circulation, high alkalinity,
or accumulation of particulate matter. Check your pump for proper circulation and
make sure the filter is clean.
Add [Dose] to restore sparkle and clarity to your pool.
Above is the text file when water condition was "very cloudy". Any of the text may be altered to suite the individual dealer. You can not change anything within brackets " [Dose] " . This is the dose & product name for that test. You can however, remove the [Dose] completely and add detailed instructions in its place.
Modify Weekly Maintenance Instructions
Each sanitizer has their own "Maintenance Instruction" file, which prints at the bottom of the printout. Each "sanitizer"contains 2 text files. The first one is used for regular daily dosing, where
applicable. The second one is the "maintenance" text file.
1. Locate the sanitizer you wish to modify the maintenance text for.
2. Double click anywhere on the record line.
3. Click 'yes' to modify the application text.
4. Choose "No" to modify the maintenance text file.

Maintenance is important and an ideal sanitizer level is key to an algae and bacteria
free environment. Fill your [Method] with [Dose] as needed and adjust to maintain
1-3 ppms.

WEEKLY:
1. Add [38] by broadcasting over the water surface.
2. Add [37] to prevent the growth of algae.
3. Add [39] to keep you water sparkling clear.
4. Add [40] to prevent staining on wall surfaces.
As with the standard text files, do not alter anything within brackets [Dose] [Method] or [number]
The maintenance chemicals themselves are represented by the [number] values. By looking at the products catalog under the Sanitizer Type column, find the "maintenance" chemicals. Each chemical has an associated number (35-53). The associated chemical product name & dosage will be displayed in the text file. These chemical dosages should be a "maintenance dose as per label instructions.
Maintenance Chemical codes:
(the codes are defaults, any chemical type can be used)
The below set of numbers are typically for the regular weekly maintenance instruction text.
They maybe substituted if necessary.
35 - any chemical
36 - non chlorine shock
37 - Algaecide
38 - Shock
39 - Clarifier
40 - Metals/Stains
41 - 53 are associated for opening/closing chemicals. Also, they can be used for any extra product you may wish to add to any of the maintenance instructions.

Under the 'Product Type' column find the "Pool Open", "Pool Close", "Spa Open", "Spa Close"
Each catagory is associated with a sanitzer. Double click on the record you wish to modify the open/close instructions.
